Raekwon is set to release his long-in-the-works new album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 on his own ICE H2O label, with a new distribution deal through EMI. The album will his stores this summer. It's Raekwon's first in six years.
"It's been a long time coming. The wait is finally over," Raekwon said. "I've put my blood, sweat and tears into making this classic album for my fans. Words cannot describe how extremely happy I am to work with EMI Music to put out my album."
A promo single and video from Linx 2, "The New Wu," features Wu-Tang bandmates Method Man and Ghostface Killah.
RZA, Dr. Dre, J Dilla, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Bun B, The Game and the rest of Wu-Tang Clan also show up on the album.
