Venom is southern rapper Chamillionaire's third studio album. It is scheduled to be released on March 16th, 2010, having been pushed back from February 2, 2010, and December 8, 2009.[4] On September 3, 2009, Chamillionaire leaked the first single for the then-untitled album titled "Good Morning". The song debuted at number forty on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Previously, Chamillionaire had stated that his third studio album would be titled 'Venom', and was scheduled for release in early 2009 with various delays. In Summer 2009, he announced that the tile and the content for that album had been scrapped and a new project was under way.[6] To decide the title for his newest album, a competition was run on the rapper's website asking fans for their suggestions for album names.[7] As a result of the competition, several names were short-listed and finally they were voted on and Venom was chosen by fans as the title for his third album.
